Could a white bag on a stick save deer and motorists?
White bags have been placed on top of roadside posts across Cannock Chase to try to prevent deer running out into the road and getting run over by motorists.
The idea originates from America and is being tried out on Cannock Chase where the number of deer killed by cars has risen in recent years. Being hit by cars is the major cause of death among wild deer.
