Notice of Appointment of Date for the Exercise of Electors' Rights

Grant Thornton UK LLP has been appointed by the Audit Commission to audit the accounts of Brindley Heath Parish Council. Grant Thornton is required by Section 21 of The Accounts and Audit (England) Regulations 2011 as transitionally saved, to set a date on or after which local electors and interested persons may exercise their rights regarding the annual accounts of the council. Notice is given that 8 June 2015 is that date.    

By law any person interested has the right to inspect a Parish Council's accounts. If you are entitled and registered to vote in local council elections then you (or your representatives) also have the right to ask the appointed auditor questions about the council's accounts. The notices below contain information about how the accounts can be inspected and also a summary of your rights.
