Staffordshire County Council is recommissioning its Healthwatch services from 1 April 2016
Healthwatch Consultation: Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire
Staffordshire County Council and Stoke-on-Trent City Council are recommissioning their Healthwatch services from 1 April 2017.
To do they are exploring how Healthwatch could be delivered in the future to ensure it meets the needs of local people and influences the future of health and care services. As Healthwatch is a champion acting on behalf of local people, it’s really important that everyone has a say about the future of this service.
There are two separate surveys, one for the public and another for organisations to complete.
It would be appreciated if you would take part in the survey and tell the County Council what you think. Please choose the link to the most appropriate survey:
The closing date for all completed surveys will be 8th May 2016 so please don’t miss this opportunity to give your feedback.
What is Healthwatch?
Healthwatch is an independent consumer champion for people who use health and social care services. Its job is to ensure that local voices are heard and that people’s views and experiences are used to improve existing services and to help shape future services. Where concerns and problems about care services have been identified they will ensure that the right people know and check that action is taken to resolve them and prevent them from happening again.
Healthwatch also provides information and advice to help people find the right health and care services and access independent support, if they need it, to complain about a health service.
