Notice of Commencement of Period for the Exercise of Public Rights

 

Grant Thornton UK LLP has been appointed by the Audit Commission (now Public Sector Audit Appointments Limited) to carry out a Limited Assurance review of the Annual Governance Statement and the Accounting Statements of Brindley Heath Parish Council for the year ended 31 March 2017.

Brindley Heath Parish Council is required by The Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015 to:

• Complete the Annual Return after 31 March 2017 as set out in Governance and Accountability for Smaller Authorities in England (the Practitioners' guide). This comprises the Annual Governance Statement (Section 1 of the Annual Return)

• Accounting Statements (Section 2 of the Annual Return)

• External Auditors Report and Certificate (Section 3) and 

• Annual Internal Audit Report for the year ended 31 March 2017
